Gwinnett County (Metro Atlanta) October 18, 2018 – Winton Machine Company was presented with two prestigious Small Business Pinnacle Awards on Wednesday, October 17th at the annual Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Small Business Summit. Winton Machine was honored with recognition for being the Small Business of the Year: 25+ Employees and the Best Overall.

Accepting the awards on behalf of Winton Machine Company was Lisa Winton, Co-founder and CEO, who shared, “Knowing who received these awards in the past and were finalists this year we are honored, humbled and truly surprised.”

Winton Machine has been a Gwinnett County based company since 1997 and Winton said, “After George and I started the company in the basement of our Lawrenceville home, we realized how many county resources were available to help us grow and expand. We’ll remain in Gwinnett County because of its pro-small business leadership mindset, programs and initiatives.”

Previous winners for Small Business of the Year: 25+ Employees include Paradigm Security Services, Halski Systems and Thomco. George and Lisa Winton built their first machine in the basement of their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 1997. Winton now manufactures over 100 different machines which use their proprietary software. The company continues to expand its line of tube and coax fabrication equipment.
