Metro Atlanta, May 20, 2024—Winton Machine Company, a US manufacturer of automated solutions for semi-rigid coax and tube fabrication, is pleased to announce Scott Hoffman’s promotion from production manager to operations manager.

As of April 2024, Scott has been part of Team Winton for ten years. In addition to his new leadership role as Operations Manager, he has served as the shop supervisor, purchasing manager, and production manager.

At Winton Machine, their Core Values are foundational to their ongoing success. Among these values, Scott believes ‘Help Others’ and ‘Always Be Honest’ are particularly crucial. Scott shared, “As a close-knit team, we rely on each other’s flexibility and willingness to lend a hand when needed. The support I received when I first joined Winton Machine significantly impacted my professional growth.” “Honesty is equally vital, as it forms the basis of our relationships with each other and our customers,” he added. Scott stated, “But I believe my most significant contribution to Winton Machine and our customers goes back to our first core value of ‘Help Others.”

Winton Machine Company President George Winton stated, “I have always counted on Scott to be willing to do whatever he can to help us move forward, including taking on different roles within the company.” In the process, Scott gained the knowledge and experience required to succeed as Winton Machine’s Operations Manager.

Recently, Winton Machine welcomed Kassy Craig as its new Operations Coordinator, who reports to Scott. As part of Winton’s continuous improvement, Scott has expanded her role to include creating sales orders for replacement parts and maintaining their project planning tool.

This change has significantly improved on-time delivery for smaller sales orders. As Winton transitions to the new ERP software, Scott and Kassy’s role will continue to evolve. Scott has already implemented changes in the machine project release process, which has improved how priorities are managed on the shop floor and ensure that the team works on projects in the required order.
